New Delhi: MeraDoc Healthtech Pvt Ltd has entered into a partnership with BLS E-Services Ltd to address the challenge of affordable healthcare access across India. The collaboration aims to bring high-quality healthcare services to underserved communities nationwide.
The partnership is intended to make healthcare more inclusive and accessible, aligning with the government’s ‘Ayushman Bharat’ vision. Through this partnership, MeraDoc’s digital healthcare services will be made available via BLS E-Services’ extensive distribution network, enabling millions of individuals to access affordable healthcare solutions.
In addition to online consultations, patients will benefit from MeraDoc’s partnerships with leading diagnostic providers like Dr. Lal Path Labs, Agilus, Aarthi Scans & Labs, Orange, and more. The partnership also extends access to over 30,000 individual labs and more than 150,000 standalone retail chemists across the country.
Eshaan Singh, Co-Founder of MeraDoc, expressed, “BLS E-Services has revolutionized financial inclusion in India. Now, combined with MeraDoc’s healthcare expertise, we’re set to transform health inclusion. This partnership will give two-thirds of India access to high-quality and empathetic 24/7 clinical care, discounted diagnostics, and affordable medicines, including generics.”
He added, “The partnership is also extremely valuable to our existing healthcare ecosystem of providers, created over the last two years, such as pharmacies, diagnostic partners, etc., and to potential partners by allowing them to offer their services in newer geographies.”
The alliance aligns with India’s broader healthcare goals, including addressing the country’s doctor-patient ratio, which remains alarmingly low, with only one doctor per 1,500 people on average, particularly in rural areas. By leveraging technology and BLS E-Services’ reach, the partnership aims to bridge the healthcare gap, ensuring equitable access to medical services across all regions, reducing healthcare disparities.
MeraDoc’s efforts to advance the Indian Government’s digital health mission, particularly through the ABHA (Ayushman Bharat Health Account) integration, are further supported by this partnership. ABHA integration is revolutionizing healthcare access by enabling seamless health data exchange and universal healthcare accessibility. MeraDoc’s ‘Neutral Aggregator’ model also empowers users with choice and control, democratizing healthcare and bringing it within reach of millions across the country.
Prashant Tiwari, CTO of MeraDoc, elaborated on the partnership, “This strengthens our commitment to providing anytime, anywhere primary care and will help pioneer a new era in healthcare, where technology and empathy converge. “By integrating family medical histories, individual patient records, and symptom analyses, we are empowering doctors with clinical insights. Our ‘Multi-User Consultation’ feature redefines connectivity, enabling families, regardless of their location, to consult with doctors simultaneously.”
