New Delhi: Merck has launched the latest evolution in sterility testing devices, the Steritest™ NEO device, which, as per company, provides safer pharmaceutical product testing, with greater reliability and convenience for a product release to market in total confidence. 

Merck’s expertise in sterility testing goes back more than 40 years since the invention of the original Steritest™ closed filtration system. This new fourth-generation unit marks the latest evolution with the Steritest™ NEO device which, along with improved ergonomics, includes the benefits such as easy to open accessory bags, 25 mL gradation mark for accurate pre-wetting step measurement, colored clamps to easily differentiate media filling, clearer labeling with colors, drawings and barcodes for easy identification and peel and stick labels for maximum traceability.

The membrane and canisters undergo stringent integrity and microbiological tests. These closed Steritest™ NEO devices are supplied with certificates of quality, with data gained from rigorous in-process and release testing to ensure peace of mind.
