New Delhi: Sakra World Hospital, renowned for its innovative approach to healthcare, made a significant stride by unveiling its Nursing Simulation Lab at its Outer Ring Road facility in Bengaluru.
This cutting-edge simulator is designed to elevate the skills of Sakra’s nursing staff, empowering them to deliver exceptional care with precision and expertise.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Teddy Duthel, French Foreign Trade Advisor in India (CCE Inde), who is also the Managing Director of Sonovision Germany, Sonovision Aetos India, and Sonovision Production Centres, along with Ramona Simion, Head of Sonovision at ORTEC Group, and Lovekesh Phasu, Group Chief Operating Officer, Sakra World Hospital, Bengaluru.

Our initiative aims to catalyze transformative developments in healthcare. By equipping nurses with a comprehensive understanding of diseases and the necessary steps forward, we pave the way for enhanced patient outcomes. Advancing nursing technology not only ensures improved access to healthcare for patients, but also empowers nurses to optimize their time, make informed decisions, and provide continuous, high-quality care.”
The Nursing Anne Simulator sets a new benchmark in realism and safety standards. Equipped with features such as spontaneous breathing and blinking eyes, it closely mimics real patient responses, providing invaluable training opportunities in a controlled environment. Nurses at Sakra will undergo comprehensive training in various nursing skills, ranging from basic assessments to advanced interventions, ensuring they are well-prepared for diverse clinical scenarios.
Unlike traditional training methods, the Nursing Anne Simulator offers an immersive learning experience, tailored to meet the specific needs of Sakra’s nursing staff. Its modular design allows for flexibility, enabling the simulation of various patient scenarios with interchangeable components and accessories. Whether practicing routine care or complex medical procedures, nurses will benefit from personalized training sessions that closely mirror real-world healthcare situations.
Simulation training plays a crucial role in ensuring patient safety by providing a risk-free environment for learners to hone their skills. By incorporating simulators into nursing education, Sakra aims to equip its staff with the necessary expertise to deliver safe and effective care to patients.
