New Delhi: In a significant step toward strengthening India’s healthcare education ecosystem, Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), part of the AISECT Group, has joined hands with RedVersity—the academic and training arm of RED Health—to launch four new programs aimed at creating a skilled workforce in healthcare management and allied services.
The collaboration is set to open new career pathways for students in Central India, where access to specialized healthcare education has remained limited.
The programs introduced under this partnership include a BBA in Hospital Administration, and three Postgraduate Diplomas—in Emergency Health Care, Disaster Management, and Nutrition & Dietetics. Each of these programs has been meticulously designed to address the evolving needs of the healthcare industry, both in India and globally, where the demand for skilled professionals continues to outpace supply.
Supported by RED Health’s extensive operational network across India—which spans emergency medical services, air and train ambulance operations, and corporate healthcare partnerships—these programs promise strong placement linkages and job assurance. Students enrolling in these courses will gain not only academic knowledge but also practical exposure to real-world healthcare challenges, ensuring they are industry-ready from the very beginning.
According to WHO estimates, the world currently faces a shortage of nearly 18 million healthcare workers, with a large part of this deficit concentrated in allied and emergency care domains. The newly launched programs aim to close this gap by combining classroom instruction with experiential learning, equipping students to play pivotal roles in strengthening the healthcare delivery system.
Highlighting the vision behind this initiative, Dr. Aditi Chaturvedi, Pro-Chancellor of RNTU, said, “At RNTU, we have always believed in creating programs that are relevant to industry needs and societal challenges. The healthcare sector is one of the fastest growing in India, but it also faces a serious talent deficit. Through this partnership with RedVersity, we aim to offer students in Central India an opportunity to build meaningful and secure careers in healthcare — not just as clinicians, but as administrators, technologists, and change-makers.”
Echoing this sentiment, Mr. Prabhdeep Singh, Founder and CEO of RED Health, remarked, “RED Health has been at the forefront of transforming India’s pre-hospital and emergency care ecosystem. With RedVersity, we are now extending that expertise to education — building talent that can serve both India and the world. Our collaboration with RNTU marks an important step in that direction. Together, we aim to create a generation of healthcare professionals who are not only skilled but also inspired to make a difference where every second counts.”
As part of the collaboration, RedVersity will contribute its expertise in simulation-based learning, emergency response, and industry-driven curriculum design, while RNTU will leverage its academic excellence and AISECT Group’s strong legacy in skilling and employability. This blend of academic rigor and real-world healthcare experience ensures a holistic learning journey aligned with global standards.
The programs will be offered at RNTU’s Bhopal campus, with hybrid learning options available for select courses. Admissions are now open for the inaugural batch, signaling a promising new chapter in healthcare education for students in Central India.
