Karma Primary Healthcare secures ₹11 crore in Series A funding from UBS Optimus Foundation

Investment to enhance digital healthcare services, boost technological capabilities, and expand reach in rural India by 2027

New Delhi: Karma Primary Healthcare, a digital healthcare startup has raised ₹11 crore (about $1.3 million) in a Series A funding round led by UBS Optimus Foundation.
The funding round also included contributions from 1Crowd and other investors, setting the stage for Karma’s next phase of growth and technological enhancement.
The funding will be used to strengthen Karma’s technology infrastructure, expand its suite of value-added services, and grow its team. These initiatives are part of Karma’s effort to develop a patient-centred healthcare model aimed at rural communities in India, with plans to reach 100 locations and serve over 150,000 patients annually by 2027.

Our partner Karma Primary  Healthcare has assisted hundreds of thousands of patients in rural India since our partnership began and our continued funding will help them expand their network of medical facilities and further strengthen their digital platform.”
The funds will assist Karma in transitioning from a transactional care model to a value-based care model. This includes expanding value-added services, building referral networks, and enhancing predictive analytics for improved patient data management and personalized healthcare.
