The Medical Technology Association of India (MTaI) will convene policymakers, diplomats and industry leaders in New Delhi on 31 July to discuss how Free Trade Agreements could influence healthcare access, regulation and the medical technology sector.

The Medical Technology Association of India (MTaI) has announced that it will organise a high-level policy roundtable titled “FTA Frameworks in an Evolving Global Order: Shaping the Healthcare Roadmap” on 31 July 2026 at Le Méridien, New Delhi.

The invitation-only event is being organised as part of MTaI’s tenth anniversary and is expected to bring together representatives from the Government of India, diplomatic missions and the medical technology industry for discussions on the relationship between international trade and healthcare.

According to MTaI, the discussions will focus on the role of Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) in strengthening healthcare collaboration, improving regulatory alignment and supporting resilient medical technology supply chains.

The association said the dialogue will examine how international trade frameworks can contribute to improved patient access to medical technologies while facilitating cooperation between governments and industry.

The event forms part of MTaI’s activities marking a decade of engagement with India’s medical technology ecosystem.
