Baxter Pharmaceuticals India celebrates 5 years of operations in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Baxter Pharmaceuticals India Private Limited (BPIPL), Ahmedabad based generic injectables manufacturing facility has successfully completed five years of its robust presence in India.

The company acquired a well-known generic injectables company for $625 million in 2017. The Baxter Ahmedabad facility is a cutting-edge generic injectables manufacturing facility that produces essential generic medicines with complementary strengths in anesthesia, analgesics, critical care, renal medicines, and anti-infectives in a variety of packaging formats such as vials, ampoules, and bags.

The 5-year anniversary celebration event was organized at the manufacturing plant in the presence of Rushikesh G Patel, Cabinet Minister for Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education, Water Resources and Water Supply (Government of Gujarat); Bhupendrasinh Chudasama, Member of the Legislative Assembly, Dholka Constituency; and Jayant Kumar, Deputy Drugs Controller (India), CDSCO Zonal Office (Ahmedabad).
