C-CAMP enters into strategic collaboration with Indegene to help life science startups

New Delhi: Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) and Indegene have joined hands to help early-stage life sciences startups accelerate technology innovation, product development, and go-to-market.
The multi-year agreement will see Indegene bring in financial assistance, mentorship via highly skilled and specialized experts, and a digital service suite, supporting C-CAMP’s efforts in nurturing at least 5-7 early-stage deep-science startups with a 360-degree ecosystem.
The goal of the partnership is to leverage C-CAMP’s incubation program to strengthen the life sciences innovation ecosystem in India and help bring new drugs/therapies to market faster.
Signing the MoU at C-CAMP premises, C-CAMP Director-CEO, Dr Taslimarif Saiyed, said, “C-CAMP incubation is a comprehensive support programme, with top-end technology access and lab facilities. Started a little more than a decade ago, we have incubated almost 100 startups, present and graduated, that have had a game-changing impact on healthcare, agriculture, and the environment in India and beyond. By partnering with Indegene, we will focus our efforts on further augmenting our incubation support capacity and startup access so that more breakthrough innovations can be given world-class support to reach people and solve real-world challenges.”
