New Delhi: Dagard, a French company specializing in insulating solutions and controlled atmospheres, is preparing to expand into the Indian market. As part of this initiative, the company will participate in the French Healthcare Days 2024, organized by Business France India, from September 17 to 19.
During the event, Baudoin Feugère des Forts, Dagard’s Head of Exports, will hold B2B meetings with key players in India’s healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors to discuss the company’s innovative offerings.
Established in 1951, Dagard has built a reputation for designing, manufacturing, and installing sustainable solutions for industries that require controlled environments. Since becoming part of Purever Industries in 2018, Dagard has further enhanced its expertise in providing cleanrooms that help prevent microbiological, chemical, particulate, and molecular contamination.
India’s pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare sectors are facing increasing contamination risks, creating a growing need for advanced cleanroom technologies. These cleanrooms, which consist of systems like partitions, ceilings, doors, and glazing, must maintain strict environmental controls, including air quality, temperature, humidity, and pressure, to ensure contamination prevention. Dagard offers cleanroom solutions specifically designed to address these needs, making them ideal for sensitive sectors that require highly regulated and clean environments. The company’s systems are built to eliminate both external and internal contamination and are easy to clean, ensuring long-term reliability.
Dagard provides two key solutions for these industries: the Ultra-Clean and Controlled Environment ranges. The Ultra-Clean range is designed to create watertight enclosures that protect both products and personnel in high-standard cleanrooms. This range includes modular and removable panels that offer a smooth, flush surface, along with a variety of doors, partitions, and cloakroom furniture, all of which comply with international standards for sensitive applications. The Controlled Environment range, meanwhile, offers a more economical and easy-to-install option for areas with moderate environmental requirements. Both ranges are highly versatile, offering various configurations to meet the specific needs of different industries.
The company’s success is driven by its team of over 400 professionals who are dedicated to designing, manufacturing, marketing, and installing its products. Dagard also offers extensive post-installation support to ensure the long-term performance and durability of its solutions. Each year, its R&D teams invest over 80,000 hours into developing custom solutions, while more than 250,000 hours are devoted to installation services worldwide.
Dagard’s expertise has been demonstrated in several high-profile projects, including its work at the Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Centre (C2N) at Paris Saclay. This project, one of Europe’s most advanced facilities for nanoscience, involved the installation of 4,900 square meters of vertical panels and 3,300 square meters of ceilings, along with doors, glazing, and other cleanroom components. The total budget for Dagard’s involvement in the project was €2.4 million.
