TSCS team meets Dr Bharati Praveen Pawar to urge support towards Thalassemia eradication

New Delhi: Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Society-Hyderabad (TSCS) team Dr Chandrakanth Agarwal, President, TSCS along with Mr Naresh Rathi, Chief Patreon and Dr NK Tated met the Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Dr Bharati Praveen Pawar and explained to her the situation of Thalassemia in the country and the grieve sufferings and pain the thalassemia children go through.
Dr Chandrakant Agarwal also explained about the unwavering and passionate work being done by TSCS for the Thalassemia patients. He also briefed the minister about the impeccable quality and unmatchable quantity of work the society is doing for care, cure, prevention & ultimately for eradication of Thalasseima.
The Minister was extremely impressed by the dedicated service of the society as she spared extensive time to listen to the contribution of TSCS towards Thalassemia and congratulated the relentless efforts of the society towards the eradication of Thalassemia.
TSCS has extended a special invitation to the minister to attend the National Conference on combating thalassemia which is being organized by TSCS on 7th Oct in Hyderabad to which she had responded positively and promised to attend the National Conference.
She also promised that she will push TSCS’s file with Health Minister for bringing G.O. soon, for making HbA2 test mandatory for the eradication of Thalassemia.
