Vivek Soares appointed as new Country Lead for Organon India and South Asia

Soares succeeds Anjan Sen, bringing over 20 years of biopharmaceutical experience aiming to drive growth and enhance women's health across the region

New Delhi: Organon India has announced the appointment of Vivek Soares as the new Country Lead for India and South Asia, effective from June 1st, 2024. Soares will succeed Anjan Sen, who retires after an illustrious 35-year career in the biopharmaceutical sector, including 11 years with MSD and Organon. Sen’s leadership helped build a robust commercial organization and strategic business plan, making India a key growth driver for Organon.
Vivek Soares brings over two decades of experience in the biopharmaceutical industry, having held various leadership roles at both country and regional levels. He has a proven track record of leading diverse teams, developing and executing successful strategies to boost sales and profitability, and building future capabilities.
Before this role, Soares served as the Strategic Partnerships & Business Development Lead for Organon Thailand. His career also includes positions such as Director of the Fertility Business Unit in Asia Pacific, Head of Tender & Key Account in Vietnam, and Senior Marketing Manager for Women’s Health covering India, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
