New Delhi: Wanbury Limited has appointed Prakash Venkatraman as President of its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) division. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, Venkatraman is highly regarded for his expertise in API operations, profit and loss management, and strategic business planning. 
Venkatraman, an alumnus of Mumbai University, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s in Management Studies. He joined Wanbury after a successful tenure as Senior Vice President of Shilpa Pharma Lifesciences, where he led the API division, consistently meeting revenue and EBITDA targets. 
Before his role at Shilpa Pharma, Venkatraman was Senior Vice President at Sun Pharma, where he was responsible for Global Sales and Business Development within the API division. His strategic oversight helped Sun Pharma expand its global footprint and solidify its market position. Additionally, he spent eight years at Jubilant Life Sciences, where he was instrumental in establishing the company as a global leader in specific molecules and expanding its production capacity to meet increasing demand.
Venkatraman’s career also includes significant leadership roles at pharmaceutical giants such as Wockhardt, Ranbaxy, and Kopran. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a strong ability to deliver on organizational objectives, making him a valuable asset to Wanbury Limited.
