New Delhi: White Lotus International Hospital and Research Centre has opened its doors in Navi Mumbai, unveiling a state-of-the-art 400-bed super-specialty facility.
This launch represents a significant step forward in the healthcare industry, as the hospital aims to blend advanced medical technology with a strong commitment to affordability and quality care.
The hospital is a flagship project of Nishkala Healthcare Private Limited, led by Chairman Dr. Ali Mudabbir. During the launch event, Dr. Mudabbir outlined the ambitious vision behind White Lotus, emphasizing the goal of delivering international-standard healthcare at prices accessible to all. He introduced the hospital’s board of directors and highlighted its focus on super-specialty care, particularly in molecular biology, cancer augmentation, and cutting-edge cancer treatments.
Dr. Mudabbir commented, “Our aim is to set new benchmarks in healthcare by combining advanced medical technology with compassionate care. We are not just building a hospital; we are creating a centre of excellence that will lead in healthcare innovation and patient care.” 
Looking to the future, Dr. Mudabbir also revealed plans to replicate the White Lotus model across multiple locations, expanding the reach of quality healthcare throughout India. He hinted at the potential establishment of medical colleges under the White Lotus International Hospital brand, reinforcing the company’s commitment to medical education and research.
Ritesh Bijoria, CEO of Nishkala Healthcare Pvt Ltd, highlighted the strategic location of the hospital and its potential to attract international patients. Situated just 10 minutes from Navi Mumbai’s upcoming international airport, the hospital offers both domestic and international patients convenience and easy access to world-class healthcare services.
“The 5.2 lakh square feet facility, with its world-class infrastructure and 100% imported machinery, aligns perfectly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Heal in India’ initiative, said Bijoria. “We are committed to providing quality healthcare at an affordable price, ensuring transparency in all our processes.”
The hospital’s oncology department is headed by Dr. Shishir Shetty, one of India’s leading oncologists. Dr. Shetty expressed his dedication to advancing cancer research and treatment at White Lotus, aiming to establish the hospital as a leader in oncology. His involvement further underscores the hospital’s focus on providing cutting-edge cancer care.
The inauguration event was attended by over 100 consultant allied partners and associates, along with key figures in the healthcare industry. Dr. Rahul Peedawar reflected on the journey and progress of White Lotus, while strategic advisor Surinder Dang, a veteran healthcare professional, emphasized the importance of creating a world-class treatment center that prioritizes excellence and quality care.
