Affordplan and APHI Tamil Nadu partner to enhance procurement transparency for hospitals

New Delhi: Affordplan and the Association of Healthcare Providers (India) Tamil Nadu Chapter today announced a strategic collaboration aimed at improving the efficiency of healthcare supply chains across Tamil Nadu. Through a formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), members of the AHPI-TN will gain access to Affordplan’s Procurement Optimization Platform called Procalyx™, a platform designed for product and price discovery in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.  

The healthcare industry has traditionally faced challenges with fragmented procurement data, often leading to price disparities for identical pharmaceutical products and medical consumables. The integration of Affordplan Procalyx™ provides AHPI-TN member hospitals with a standardized framework to evaluate products and market rates, facilitating more informed purchasing decisions. This transparency enables hospital owners to optimize their procurement budgets without compromising on clinical quality.  

The MOU outlines a framework for preferential access, ensuring that AHPI-TN’s member hospitals can integrate these digital tools into their existing workflows with dedicated support.
