New Delhi:  AIIMS Jammu, in collaboration with 4baseCare, an Illumina Accelerator Company, that offers cutting-edge precision oncology solutions using advanced genomics and digital health technology, hosted the Precision Oncology Expert Meet (POEM-2025) on February 3, 2025.
The event, held at the Convention Centre, AIIMS Jammu, brought together leading oncologists, scientists, and healthcare experts to discuss the latest advancements in genomics-driven personalized patient care.
The event was led by Prof. (Dr.) Shakti Kumar Gupta, Executive Director & CEO of AIIMS Jammu, alongside Mr. Hitesh Goswami, Founder & CEO of 4baseCare, and Dr. Poonam Sharma, Associate Professor & Head, Dept. of Pathology, AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu. Under their leadership, the conference underscored the urgent need for genomic testing, AI-driven diagnostics, and interdisciplinary collaborations to reshape cancer treatment in India.

Leaders shared groundbreaking insights on the evolving role of CAR-T therapy, biomarker-driven treatments, and next-gen immunotherapies.
Specialized discussions on tumor-specific precision medicine applications showcased real-world cases, demonstrating how genomic testing can drive more accurate, effective, and less toxic treatments.
