Apollo Diagnostics launches state-of-the-art processing lab in Tirupati

New Delhi: Apollo Diagnostics has unveiled its 140th processing lab in Tirupati. The state-of-the-art facility, located in the NGO Colony, was inaugurated by Aranii Srenevasulu, MLA of the Tirupati Assembly Constituency.
During the inauguration, Srenevasulu commended Dr. Prathap Reddy’s vision of bringing high-standard medical care, akin to what is available abroad, to India. He praised, “Apollo Hospitals is acknowledged today for highest standard care all over India and abroad. Such a reputed group has set up an Apollo Diagnostics here at Tirupati, today. It offers a comprehensive range of diagnostic services with the latest technology and equipment in Tirupati itself.”
The new lab boasts a monthly processing capacity of over 25,000 samples and provides an extensive array of tests, from routine to specialized. It also offers home sample collection services. This expansion aims to meet the rising demand for quality diagnostic services in the region, giving residents of Tirupati access to over 3,000 tests and various preventive Xpert Health Checkup packages. 
Sriram Iyer, CEO of Apollo Health & Lifestyle Limited, highlighted the benefits of the new lab, stating, “Our new lab in Tirupati helps us improve the turnaround time on reports and also strengthens our position in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Patients can now receive world-class diagnostic services right here in Tirupati.”
Devendra Singh Rajput, COO of Apollo Diagnostics, added, “The Apollo Diagnostics at Tirupati is a state-of-the-art facility with fully automatic analysers diagnosing various hormonal disorders, vitamin deficiencies etc. We are coming out with a wellness package, the Expert Health. We are also doing preventive diagnostic tests focussed on detecting cardiac disorders, cancers and diabetes because these are the three disorders causing major health issues. The lab, spanning over 1,500 square feet, includes divisions such as Hematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology, Serology, and Microbiology. It employs fully automated instruments to minimize manual errors and adheres to NABL quality standards to ensure accurate and precise test results. All lab doctors and technicians are certified and professionally trained to provide expert services to customers.
Apollo Diagnostics has 6 patient care centers in the area, along with this lab, and also operates 115 additional centers in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
