ASSOCHAM felicitates Oncquest Labs as outstanding cancer diagnostic laboratory of the year

New Delhi: The Oncquest Laboratories, one of India’s leading super specialized laboratory in molecular and clinical diagnostic has recently been selected as the winner of “Outstanding Cancer Diagnostic Laboratory” by the Associated Chambers of Commerce of India (ASSOCHAM). The announcement was made at a formal felicitation ceremony and programme that was held in New Delhi.

Prior to this, the Oncquest has received the award for” Diagnostic Service Provider of The Year” in 2015-16 and also the award for the “Cancer Diagnostic Testing Laboratory of The Year in 2016-17”.

As per the statement from Oncquest Laboratories, it got this award in the race of many renowned diagnostic laboratories and testing centers operating across India. The award was presented by Mr Ashwini Kumar Choubey, Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the numbers of cancer cases is expected to rise by about 70 percent over the next few decades. Breast cancer is one of the most-commonly diagnosed cancer amongst women. As per a report, One in eight women usually develops invasive breast cancer during their lifetime.

A vast majority of women are under the risk especially due to the late detection of cancer. Bringing all these issues in light along with the objective of bringing together various stakeholders working in the field of cancer, award function was organized by ASSOCHAM.
