New Delhi: C-Care (Mauritius) Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG). The partnership, effective from July 1, 2024, aims to enhance cancer care in Mauritius through advanced clinical services, training, and patient referrals.
Under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), HCG will provide clinical and outpatient consultation (OPD) services at the C-Care Cancer Center, located within C-Care Darné in Floréal. The services will be delivered by HCG’s team of oncologists specializing in various areas of cancer treatment, offering Mauritian patients access to world-class care.
The partnership is built on five key areas: cutting-edge clinical services, training and knowledge-sharing, advanced diagnostic services, facilitation of patient referrals, and a commitment to excellence. HCG will supply specialized oncologists to treat complex cancer cases, ensuring that patients receive personalized treatments backed by international expertise.
C-Care’s nuclear medicine staff will also benefit from training provided by HCG experts. This collaboration is expected to elevate the skills and knowledge of the Mauritian medical teams, ultimately improving the quality of care available to patients in the country. The agreement will allow C-Care patients to access PET scans at preferential rates through HCG, while those requiring advanced cancer treatments not available locally will be referred to HCG hospitals in India.
