Columbia Asia Hospital organizes walkathon to create awareness on breast cancer

Bangalore: Columbia Asia Hospital, Whitefield in association with Khel India on 30th October organized a ‘Walkathon – Uniting against Breast Cancer’ which witnessed participation from 250 people. The event aimed to create awareness among the public on breast cancer and the significance of early detection.

The  6 km and 12 km walk began from the hospital premises at 6:00 a.m and continued till 8:30 a.m. The finishers’ in both the categories received a certificate and medal. Doctors and staff from Columbia Asia Hospital, Whitefield also took part in the event to spread the message on breast cancer in women.
