Experts hold encouraging holistic healthcare dialogue at HOPECON’25

June, 2025: The fourth edition of HOPECON, India’s premier multidisciplinary Medi-Educare Conference was recently held in Kolkata.

The event brought together more than 1050  resource persons & faculties from across the entire country, alongside 6000+ medical practitioners creating a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

With a huge no.of participants joining physically as well as online across these three days, HOPECON’25 featured interactive workshops, panel discussions, and lectures covering an array of specializations — including Neurology, Cardiology, Psychiatry, Immunology, Geriatrics, Gastroenterology, Physical Medicine, Nutrition, Respiratory Medicine,Diabetes,Orthopaedics, Medical Research &  many more fraternities -38 in total.Each session aimed to address both clinical advancements and pressing public health challenges.

From in-depth conversations on allergy management and geriatric oral health to discussions on medical education and emerging psychiatric frameworks, the conference saw enthusiastic participation from both senior faculty and young professionals. Special sessions such as ‘Let’s Talk About Sex, Science, and Psychiatry’, ‘Medical Journalism’, and the ‘Biological Psychiatry Conclave’ highlighted the growing need to address healthcare from a patient-centered, socially aware perspective.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pradip Kumar Mitra, Director and Convenor of HOPECON, said, “This year’s conference reinforced the importance of holistic, patient-centric healthcare.
