Fortis Hospitals hosts HR conclave in Mumbai

Mumbai: To help Human Resources (HR) vertical strategically achieve its goals, Fortis Hospitals Mumbai hosted an HR Conclave – ‘Reinventing Role of HR In the New Normal’.
The conclave aimed to help the HRs understand and manage the processes, protocols, for wellbeing of the employees and way forward to operate in the new normal in the wake of the COVID19 pandemic.
The HR Conclave was attended by more than 100 HR managers, HR Directors and CXOs from leading corporates in Mumbai, including senior leadership from Fortis Healthcare, represented by Rajan B Pandey – Chief Human Resource Officer, Fortis Healthcare and Dr S. Narayani, Zonal Director, Fortis Hospitals Mumbai. They will be joined by Mr Nitin Kamaria, Facility Director, Hiranandani Hospital, Vashi-A Fortis Network Hospital, Dr Kunal Punamiya, CEO-SL Raheja Hospital, Mahim-A Fortis Associate & Dr Supriya Amey, Facility Director, Fortis Hospital, Kalyan.
Rajan B Pandey – Chief Human Resource Officer, Fortis Healthcare, said, “The COVID19 pandemic brought about a paradigm in the functioning of organizations across the globe. This in turn, impacted employees’ work-life with the advent of long working hours, stress of job loss, and the adoption of hybrid working model. Through today’s conclave, we wanted to aid HROs to play a pivotal role in helping organizations manage their COVID19 response by keeping the workforce engaged, productive, and resilient. The time has come for HR systems to reimagine its future in employee engagement and the future of the business/enterprise, and this conclave was a progressive step in that direction.”
The program was spread across three insightful sessions, including ‘Employees Mental Health & COVID9’, ‘women at work – navigating the pandemic and reimagining the workplace’ and ‘adapting to a new normal’. All the sessions were conducted with very astute and perceptive panelists, who represented various organizations like Reliance Industries, Adani Electricity, Axis Bank, Cipla, ICICI Lombard Insurance, Hafele India and L&T, among others. A Q&A session with the HROs was also hosted to help the participants gain new insights and learn from their experience.
