Global Digital Health Summit 2024 to unveil Patient Centricity Index and set new digital healthcare standards

New Delhi: The Global Digital Health Summit, Expo & Innovation Awards, supported by prominent organizations including the Ministry of AYUSH, National Human Rights Commission, and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), is scheduled for October 4-5, 2024, at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. 
This year’s summit, themed “Digital Health at Scale: Success Stories,” will bring together leaders from both the public and private sectors, aiming to address the latest advancements and future directions in digital health.
The summit is notable for launching the Patient Centricity Index, an initiative poised to revolutionize the assessment of patient-centricity, market healthcare, and evaluate care quality. This event is distinguished by being the first healthcare summit to be awarded 16.30 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) credits by the CPD Standards Office, UK and 10 CNE credits by the Indian Nursing Council.
Over two days, the summit will feature a rich program including keynote speeches, panel discussions, and masterclasses covering critical topics such as artificial intelligence in healthcare, digital transformation of hospitals,  privacy and security in digital health, and the role of digital technologies in managing chronic diseases. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and explore cutting-edge digital health technologies at the exhibition.
Several spotlight sessions will run concurrently, including the Certificate Masterclass with Global Leaders, the National Nursing Summit on Digital Health, and the National Scientific Symposium on Mental Health, Human Rights & Digital Health. Other sessions will focus on enabling next-generation digital health solutions through Google Technologies by Health Parliament, OHDSI India Symposium on data-driven healthcare, Digital Health Scientific Symposium; and a session on One Health One Health.
Dr. Rajendra Pratap Gupta, Summit Chair and former advisor to the Union Health Minister, emphasized the summit’s importance, stating that it will provide attendees with critical insights into surviving and thriving in the evolving healthcare landscape. “By bringing together the brightest minds and most innovative solutions, we hope to inspire and empower healthcare professionals, policymakers, and the public to embrace the power of technology in driving sustainable, equitable, and patient-centric care.”

In addition to the summit, an Expo will showcase innovative digital health products and solutions from around the globe, while the Global Digital Health Innovation Awards will honor outstanding contributions to the digital health sector.
