India reports less than 800 Covid-19 cases after 716 days

New Delhi: Following a continuous downward trend, the India’s active Covid-19 caseload currently stands at 12,054, thus witnessing a significant decline to less than 13,000 mark after 716 days. The active cases stand at 0.03%.
With 795 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, the daily positivity rate in India stands at 0.17%.
The 184.87 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under Nationwide Vaccination Drive. COVID-19 vaccination for the age group 12-14 years was started on 16 March, 2022. So far, more than 1.86 crore (1,86,39,260) adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
The current recovery rate is at 98.76% and there are 1,280 recoveries in the last 24 hours. Total recoveries during the pandemic stand at 4,24,96,369.
With over 79.15 crore total tests conducted so far, 4,66,332 tests were done in the last 24 hours.
