New Delhi: Innoterra, the Swiss-Indian food and technology platform company, is expanding its subsidiary MilkLane’s Aayush Cattle Feed division. This move includes the introduction of premium products and an ambitious plan to extend its geographic footprint across India.
The company is launching two new SKUs under the Aayush brand—Aayush Supreme and Aayush Vardhan. These feeds are designed to deliver superior nutrition, featuring 22% and 24% crude protein, respectively. Enriched with bypass fat, protein, yeast, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals, the new formulations aim to enhance milk quality and cattle health while remaining affordable. This development follows rigorous research and development efforts, aimed at boosting both milk yield and quality for farmers.
MilkLane is also gearing up to add two new automated plants by the end of FY 2025 to significantly increase production capacity. Currently operating in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu, the company plans to expand its presence with new plants and broaden its market reach. The expansion will target regions including Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Madhya Pradesh, alongside a strategic revitalization in Kerala and new market launches in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
The company’s network, which currently includes over 10,000 farmers, 250+ retailers, and 50+ distributors, is set to double by FY 2025. This growth reflects MilkLane’s commitment to enhancing farmer success and driving market growth.
Avinash Kasinathan, Head of India Business at Innoterra, commented, “The expansion of our MilkLane’s Aayush Cattle Feed business line into the premium segment, underlines our commitment to revolutionizing cattle nutrition and enhancing farmer livelihoods across India. The launch of these new offerings – Aayush Supreme and Aayush Vardhan – marks another milestone in our continuous journey to combine technology and traditional wisdom to deliver superior and sustainable products at an affordable price.”
He added, “With the planned addition of two new production plants and an aggressive expansion strategy, we are poised to double our network of farmers, retailers, and distributors by FY2025. This expansion will not only meet the growing demand for high-quality cattle feed but will also reinforce our mission to support smallholder farmers, boost milk yield, and contribute to a healthier food supply chain across the nation. As we look ahead, our focus remains on driving innovation, expanding our reach, and transforming the agricultural landscape in India.”
