New Delhi: The new generation ‘Make in India’ hospital products shall be on display at Medicall Expo from 21st September in the national capital. This 3 day exposition is expected to help small and medium level hospitals in smaller towns as well as in the big cities explore possibilities to bring down healthcare cost.

Mentioning some of the special features, Dr Manivannan S, Founder and CEO Medicall said, “Our focus is primarily on ” Make in India ” and on innovative products.” He added that the new innovations include Mercury Free Digital BP Monitor, Specially designed Stethoscope for the cardiologists. Some of the designs were been patented in India.

Critical hospital furniture and High End OPD and ICU beds made as per the
international standards and exported to large number of countries in Asia, Africa and in many European countries, shall be on display.

Mr Ravi Kumar P, Strategic Advisor, Medicall  said “this is a mass awareness movement among our fellow Doctors who are practicing in smaller towns and cities, Medicall tells them that running a hospitals is not a big thing and they can soon start.”

“Hospital does not mean owing high-end imported equipment, it can also be supplemented with indigenously developed “Make in India” products and thereby reducing the cost on the patients who are the end users of Hospital services,” he added.

The exposition will also guide new entrepreneurs on hospital management and procurement. They shall get an opportunity to have a one to one interaction under one roof and help them setup small medium sized hospitals in smaller town and cities. Since these will be low cost hence burden on patient will be minimal.

With over 300 medical companies including foreign participation from –
Germany, Indonesia, China, South Africa, South Korea, Malaysia, Ukraine and Taiwan who will be attending the Medicall Expo, its sure Global countries are eyeing Indian hospital business space. The Bavarian Government is actively participating at the meet. Many Foreign participants are expected to sign joint venture projects with their Indian partners.
