New Delhi: Global Health Limited, one of India’s largest private multi-specialty tertiary care providers, announced its audited consolidated financial results for the quarter ending 30th September 2025, reporting a strong year-on-year performance driven by expansion, higher patient volumes, and new service offerings.
For the quarter, the company recorded a consolidated total income of ₹11,189 million, marking a 14.8% year-on-year increase compared to Rs 9,748 million in Q2 FY25. EBITDA (excluding Noida) grew 13.7% year-on-year to Rs 2,804 million with margins of 25.2%, while including Noida, EBITDA stood at Rs 2,607 million, reflecting a 5.7% growth. Profit after tax rose 21.1% year-on-year to Rs 1,584 million, with margins improving to 14.2%.
September 2025 marked a milestone for the group with the launch of its sixth hospital — a state-of-the-art, 550-bed facility in Noida, currently operational with 226 beds, 81 ICU beds, and five operating theatres. The hospital, which began operations in September, generated revenue of Rs 39 million during the quarter. Over 150 doctors have already joined the Noida facility, equipped with advanced medical technologies to deliver world-class care to the region.
“Our sixth hospital in Noida represents a major step forward in Medanta’s vision of providing quality, accessible healthcare across India,” said Pankaj Sahni, Group CEO and Director, Global Health Limited. “We are encouraged by the initial response and are progressively ramping up operations. The quarter saw strong revenue growth of 15% year-on-year and robust performance across our network.”
Operationally, the quarter saw sustained momentum with inpatient count increasing by 12.7% and outpatient count by 14.9% year-on-year. Average Revenue Per Occupied Bed (ARPOB) grew by 5.5% to Rs 65,570, supported by improved realization and a stronger specialty mix. Occupied bed days increased 7.7%, representing an overall occupancy of around 64% despite expanded capacity.
The company continued to strengthen its infrastructure and technology capabilities across hospitals. At Medanta Patna, 37 new beds were added, taking the total additions to 57 in H1 FY26. The hospital also commissioned a MAGNETOM Vida 3T MRI scanner with BioMatrix technology, enhancing precision imaging. Medanta Lucknow expanded its diagnostic infrastructure with a 128-slice Dual Source CT and a MAGNETOM Altea 1.5T MRI.
Medanta also continued its focus on community health through a year-long Cancer Awareness Program promoting early detection and screening. Its inaugural campaign on breast cancer, “BannokiRasam,” went viral for its message breaking taboos and encouraging women to seek early screening.
International patient revenue surged by 48.5% year-on-year to ₹762 million, while pharmacy revenues rose 23.9% to Rs 456 million, reflecting strong demand across segments.
In terms of expansion, Medanta acquired a 3.5-acre land parcel in Guwahati for approximately Rs 600 million, marking its entry into the Northeast. The Bhoomi Poojan was completed on 31st October 2025. In Mumbai, the company announced plans to build a 750-bed super-specialty hospital in Oshiwara, with a total project cost estimated at around Rs 15,300 million, including land, FSI purchase, and residential facilities for staff.
