Meril receives prestigious WIPO National Award for innovation in medical devices

New Delhi: Meril Life Sciences, a global Indian medical devices company has been awarded the World Intellectual Property Organization’s (WIPO) National Award for Inventors.

The award, presented by the WIPO and the Indian Patent Office, is offered to organizations for inventions which are considered to be significant contributions to the economic and technological development of their countries. The award is a recognition of Meril’s notable work towards securing patents and commercializing them to boost manufacturing in India.

WIPO Director General, Mr. Daren Tang, underscored Meril’s dedication to devising innovative medical products that address previously unmet clinical needs.
