NIIMS Hospital expands to 900 beds, Installs advanced MRI system

New Delhi: In a major push towards accessible and technology-driven healthcare, NIIMS Hospital (Noida International Institute of Medical Sciences College & Hospital) has announced the expansion of its facility to 900 beds, making it one of the largest tertiary care centers in the region. Simultaneously, the hospital has bolstered its diagnostic capabilities with the installation of the MAGNETOM Sempra–1.5 T MRI System by Siemens Healthineers, equipped with TIM & DOT technology.

The upgraded MRI system is one of the most advanced in its class, featuring a non-claustrophobic design with a flared opening, ensuring a stress-free experience for patients, especially the elderly and children. 

It also supports feet-first imaging for most scans and incorporates QUIET Suite technology, delivering a nearly silent scan with a 93% noise reduction, a significant improvement in patient comfort.
