Admissions are now open to this niche management programme that seamlessly merges traditional business acumen with specialized expertise tailored to the intricacies of the healthcare industry.
The MBA in Healthcare Management curriculum provides a unique blend of business administration principles and specialised knowledge relevant to the healthcare industry. The curriculum includes subjects that cover fundamental aspects of the healthcare industry, such as Healthcare Delivery Models, Healthcare Systems, Healthcare Policy, and Healthcare Ethics and blends them with subjects such as, Financial Management, Budgeting, and Reimbursement Strategies. It also addresses the complex regulatory environment of the healthcare industry, including compliance with healthcare laws, regulations and ethical considerations unique to healthcare settings.
Given the increasing importance of technology in healthcare, the programme includes modules on healthcare informatics and digital transformation in healthcare businesses. Students learn how to leverage technology for healthcare management, including electronic health records, data analytics and telemedicine. The curriculum also incorporates strategic management principles tailored to the healthcare industry. It includes understanding how to develop and implement effective strategies aligned with the challenges and opportunities in healthcare. Students also get the opportunity to explore marketing and branding principles specific to healthcare services and organizations.
The programme bridges the gap between theoretical concepts and their practical application with industry-specific projects and case studies designed by industry leaders. Students gain hands-on experience through internship opportunities offered through the Summer Internship Programme. Moreover, the course offers students the chance to engage with the healthcare industry through a range of workshops, guest lectures, and mentorship programmes. The 2023 placement programme for the course saw top organisations such as Ernst & Young, Emcure and Zydus hire excellent healthcare managers from the institution. Moreover, during the summer internship programme, students received internship opportunities in diverse domains such as Operations, Branding, Quality Management, Marketing and Information Technology.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates holding a medical degree- MBBS/BDS/BPT/BHMS/BAMS/BUMS/BYNS or a degree in Pharmacy, Medical Technology, Biotechnology, Bio-Medical, Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology, Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemicals Technology, Microbiology, Bioengineering with at least 50% aggregate marks.
Candidates who have appeared for their final year degree examination can also apply & graduation (Qualifying)examination should have been conducted before the course commencement date.
Doctors, Dentists, and other medical professionals who have worked in Public/ Private/ Non-profit hospitals who are involved in the management and administration of the healthcare services.
Medical professionals who are running their own businesses and want to enhance their management skills so as to deliver superior service and improve the top line and the bottom line.
Para-Medical professionals who have worked in the healthcare industry and looking to upgrade their skills and thereby accelerate their career growth.
Non-medical graduates who have worked in the healthcare industry and looking to upgrade their skills and thereby, accelerate their career growth can also apply. A minimum of 2 years of healthcare sector experience is required for these candidates.
