RED Health & Medanta Indore join hands to launch hospital’s first 5G-enabled advanced life support ambulance

New Delhi: In a significant milestone for emergency healthcare in India, RED Health, Asia’s only JCI-accredited and India’s largest emergency medical response platform, has joined forces with Medanta Indore to introduce the hospital’s first 5G-enabled Advanced Life Support (ALS) ambulance. 

This initiative was inaugurated with a flag-off ceremony held on October 14, 2025, marking a historic milestone in Indore’s emergency healthcare landscape. The launch event was attended by Dr. Sanjay Geed, Medical Director, Medanta Indore; Dr. Rajneesh Kachhara, Director, Neurosciences, Medanta Hospital Indore; and Dr. Tausif Thangalwadi, COO, RED Health.

The 5G-enabled ambulance is equipped with SyncX technology, which facilitates smooth transmission of vital patient information to Medanta’s emergency room with less than two seconds of latency. This instantaneous connectivity empowers specialists at Medanta to evaluate patient conditions remotely, commence critical interventions while en route, and have treatment plans ready upon arrival, significantly maximizing the life-saving potential of the golden hour when every moment is critical.
