Sami-Sabinsa Group donates INR 5.5 crore to Kerala flood fund

Besides donating money to the Kerala Chief Minister's relief fund, the company has also dispatched the stock of essential medicines to the state government

Bengaluru: The Sami-Sabinsa Group, which manufactures and markets phytonutrients and standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates, has sent medicines (Curcumin C3 Complex) to the flood-wracked state of Kerala to assist in its relief efforts.

The medicines will be distributed by Dr Muhammed Majeed, Founder and Chairman, Sami-Sabinsa Group at a Relief Camp in Mattannur, Kannur District of Kerala. This in addition to a contribution of Rs 5.5 crores made by Dr Majeed to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund along with adopting one village devastated in the flood.
