New Delhi: Addressing the escalating health risks posed by sedentary lifestyles, the ‘Illness to Wellness’ campaign in collaboration with YoloHealth, a healthcare technology company, organized its sixth health camp aimed at raising awareness about preventive healthcare practices.
The health camp, held at Shri Sai Bhakta Samaj on Lodhi Road, New Delhi, on June 21 and June 22, 2024, served as a proactive platform for over 200 individuals to undergo comprehensive health screenings. Participants were tested across 22 parameters including blood pressure, blood sugar levels, BMI checks, and various invasive and non-invasive tests. This initiative empowered attendees to take charge of their health and adopt healthier lifestyles to prevent future health complications.
Initiated on March 28, 2024, the ‘Illness to Wellness’ campaign has rapidly gained momentum with a series of successful health camps conducted at prominent locations such as Janpath, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Birla Mandir, Aggarwal Digambar Jain Mandir in Connaught Place, and Priority Health Care in Green Park. These events underscore the growing public interest and demand for accessible preventive healthcare services.
Anil Rajput, Chairperson of ASSOCHAM National CSR Council, stated, “I am delighted to see the rapid and impactful execution of the Illness to Wellness and Yolohealth awareness campaign. In a relatively short period of time, a large number of people are taking the benefit of the facilities provided by Yolohealth. This will indeed go a long way in building a healthier and more productive society for our country. I would urge many other companies to join hands in scaling up this effort”.
At the health camp, YoloHealth showcased its innovative HealthATM product, demonstrating advancements in health assessment technology. HealthATM machines integrate IoT-enabled medical devices certified by US FDA/EU, alongside YoloHealth’s HIPAA-compliant software backend and cloud-centric platform, facilitating easy access to primary and preventive healthcare services including telemedicine.
The ‘Illness to Wellness’ campaign, established in 2014, continues to promote health and well-being through education, collaboration, and sustainable health practices. These health camps emphasize the importance of early detection and proactive health management. The endeavor aims to address the surge in lifestyle-related health issues among both younger people and those above the age of 45 or 50, driven by factors such as long working hours, stress, poor diet, and lack of physical activity.
