SRL Diagnostics inaugurates an upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory at Gurugram

Gurugram: SRL Diagnostics, India’s leading diagnostic services provider launched its newest upgraded state-of-the-art laboratory at Gurugram. The Gurugram reference laboratory sprawled over 25,000 sqft will serve as the nodal laboratory for all its reference labs in North India and East India.

The facility was inaugurated in the presence of luminary doctors; Prof. Dr. Ashok Seth (Padmashri, Padmanbhushan Awardee), Dr. Narottam Puri and Dr. Ashutosh Raghuvanshi.

The laboratory is equipped to perform high-volume diagnostic testing services offering increased productivity, superior diagnostic quality, and enhanced capacity to meet current and future regional demands. The SRL lab at Gurugram is also the Center of Excellence for HLA testing & Transplant Immunology. Apart from highly specialized compatibility testing and evaluation needed for successful transplants, the center of excellence will also focus on research, academics, knowledge sharing and skill building. 

The lab also houses all clinical laboratory departments including Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, Histopathology, Biochemistry, Flow Cytometry, Microbiology etc. The laboratory has the capacity to conduct over 10,000 tests per day with a team of experienced and qualified pathologists. 

Speaking on the launch Mr. Anand K, Chief Executive Officer, SRL Diagnostics said, “The National Capital Region is one of our priority markets and we are pleased to launch an upgraded laboratory that will enable us to provide both quality and timely diagnostic services to patients, clinicians and healthcare facilities. With this launch in Gurugram, SRL now has a network of 8 labs and over 400 collection centres in the NCR region. Residents of NCR will now have access to a robust test menu of over 3500+ tests from SRL’s large laboratory network across India. Through its efficient logistics and information technology systems, SRL is well placed to offer specialized, esoteric and advanced genetic tests to patients in NCR.
