Wockhardt Foundation & Biogetica partner for multidisciplinary research into COVID-19

New Delhi: Biogetica and Wockhardt Foundation have come together to conduct multidisciplinary research into remedies and strategies to effectively combat the Novel Corona Virus. The research is being conducted under Corival Life Sciences which boasts of a unique partnership between global leaders in the field of natural and pharmaceutical medicines.

Corival Life Sciences has conducted reviews of published ‘in vivo’, ‘in vitro’ and ‘in silica’ research on Covid 19 basis which their first product called ‘Immunofree’ was launched. ‘Immunofree’ is now being entered into a pharma control trial along with reginmune, a product made by Biogetica that has already shown ground-breaking results in herpes trials.

The USP of the Corival Life Sciences protocol apart from all others is the fact that it combines evidence based nutraceuticals and potent full spectrum herbal extracts, into easy to use pills that synergistically work in multifaceted ways, during these unprecedented times. The trial has already received approvals from Institutional ethics committees from Govt. Medical College and Govt. General Hospital (Old RIMSGGH), Srikakulam; Lokmanya Hospital, Pune; Parul Institute of Ayurveda and Research Parul University; Vadodara and Abhinav Multispeciality hospital, Nagpur. Once the Indian and United States clinical trial registries have reviewed ‘Immunofree’ study, it will be ready for recruitment. Corival Life Sciences is looking to do a multicenter, open label, pharma control trial where ‘Immunofree’ will go head to head against Government SOPS of currently used conventional medicines for Covid 19. This trial is unique as it is not an adjunct trial, nor a preventative one, it is one where the main medicine comes from Ayurveda.
