World Zoonosis Day 2025: Indian Immunologicals administers 1 lakh free dosages of anti-rabies vaccine

New Delhi: On World Zoonoses Day 2025, Indian Immunologicals Limited has organized “Free Anti-rabies Vaccination Camps” across India. One Lakh doses of Anti-rabies vaccine were administered free of cost with leading brands- Raksharab and Starvac R in more than 100 cities across 21 states through veterinary dispensaries, veterinary colleges, and NGOs.

Dr Ch Malleshwari, Additional Director Veterinary and Animal Husbandry Department, Government of Telangana inaugurated the Free Anti-Rabies Vaccination camp at Super Speciality Veterinary Hospital at Narayanguda, Hyderabad.

One Health approach is crucial for controlling zoonotic diseases.
