New Delhi: Aster Health Academy has announced strategic collaborations with 15 prestigious hospitals across India. This initiative aims to enhance practical training opportunities for both clinical and non-clinical roles, reinforcing the Academy’s commitment to providing high-quality healthcare education.
The Academy’s new partnerships include prominent institutions such as KIMS Hospital (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh), Jaslok Hospital (Maharashtra), Metro Hospital (Delhi NCR), Accord Super Speciality Hospital (Faridabad), Aster Whitefield Hospital (Karnataka), Charnock Hospital (West Bengal), Chandan Hospital (Lucknow), and Spandana Hospital (Bengaluru). Additionally, the Academy has partnered with Yenepoya (Deemed to be University) in Karnataka, which accredits their programs under the Healthcare Practice Excellence category.
These affiliations are vital to the Academy’s curriculum, particularly for clinical programs like Fellowships in Emergency Medicine, Diabetes, and Critical Care. Enrolled doctors are placed in hospitals for Observership programmes, gaining hands-on experience under the mentorship of departmental heads. This practical exposure is aligned with the educational objectives of their respective programs.
Kannan Srinivas, Director of Aster Health Academy, expressed enthusiasm about the new partnerships, stating, “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with these prestigious hospitals, marking a pivotal advancement for Aster Health Academy. This collaboration will empower aspiring healthcare professionals with state-of-the-art training and hands-on experience, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet future challenges. Together, we aim to cultivate a new generation of compassionate and skilled practitioners dedicated to enhancing community health and well-being.”
These partnerships also extend the Academy’s reach into tier 2 and tier 3 regions, providing learners with practical exposure at leading hospitals nationwide. This symbiotic relationship benefits both parties, as hospitals gain access to specialized, trained resources provided by Aster Health Academy.
Furthermore, Aster Health Academy has recently received Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accreditation for its clinical courses. CPD accreditation is a testament to the quality and relevance of the Academy’s programs, contributing significantly to professional development. Benefits of CPD accreditation include skill enhancement, career progression, and regulatory compliance, ensuring professionals stay abreast of the latest knowledge and practices, and meeting ongoing educational requirements set by industry regulators and professional bodies.
