New Delhi: BM Birla Heart Hospital in Kolkata made history by hosting Eastern India’s first-ever live 3D hands-on workshop on complex cardiac arrhythmias.
The event, focusing on 3D mapping techniques, brought together renowned cardiologists from both national and international backgrounds to share their expertise on understanding and treating challenging arrhythmias.
Curated by Dr. Rakesh Sarkar, Senior Consultant in Cardiology and Electrophysiology at BM Birla Heart Hospital, the workshop featured the distinguished presence of Dr. Ajita Kanthan, a leading electrophysiologist from Blacktown Hospital in Sydney. Supratik De Sarkar, Unit Head of BM Birla Heart Hospital, also attended the event, providing full support to the organizing team.
Dr. Rakesh Sarkar expressed, “Today, we conducted a LIVE 3D hands-on workshop on some of the most challenging arrythmia cases. It was an exciting session and a lot of knowledge was exchanged during the workshop. We got to learn a lot from the doctors, who are of national and international fame, and who shared their expertise and knowledge on 3D Mapping during the workshop.”
