New Delhi: HealthPlix Technologies has unveiled H.A.L.O., a technology designed to transform healthcare by automating digital prescription generation.
This new solution eliminates the need for manual typing by doctors, allowing them to simply converse with patients while H.A.L.O seamlessly converts these interactions into well-structured digital prescriptions. Initially supporting English and Hindi, H.A.L.O plans to add five more languages within the next six months.
With India facing a shortage of doctors—only seven per 10,000 people—optimizing doctors’ time is critical for improving patient access to care. HealthPlix’s previous success in boosting EMR adoption from 0% to 4% through its fast digital prescription system highlights the urgent need for such innovations. H.A.L.O aims to elevate adoption rates to 40% in the coming 1-2 years, which is crucial for addressing the country’s healthcare challenges.
H.A.L.O also enhances patient adherence to treatment plans by providing detailed transcripts of doctor-patient conversations, ensuring that patients remember and follow medical advice more effectively.
Sandeep Gudibanda, Co-Founder & CEO of HealthPlix Technologies, stated, “H.A.L.O is set to revolutionize the healthcare landscape by enhancing the efficiency of doctors and ensuring better patient care. Our early adopters are delighted with H.A.L.O’s ability to optimize their time and we are extremely glad that we are enabling them to see more patients.  We are excited to drive more adoption and to continue refining this solution for expanding its impact across the industry, ultimately improving patient outcomes and provider workflows.”
Chaitanya Raju, Executive Director of HealthPlix Technologies, emphasized, “H.A.L.O represents a major leap in healthcare technology. Leveraging cutting-edge natural language processing and machine learning algorithms, it delivers unparalleled accuracy in summarizing doctor-patient conversations. Trained on data from over 100 million consultations within HealthPlix EMR, our AI model outperforms any generic transcription tool on the market. Its seamless integration with various EMR systems further amplifies its versatility, establishing it as an essential tool for healthcare providers.”
HealthPlix has been at the forefront of health record digitization in India, with over 14,000 doctors using its AI-powered EMR daily. The platform currently serves 3.5% of the Indian population and plays a key role in critical initiatives like the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
