Jatin Mahajan elected as the new President of ADMI

New Delhi: The Association of Diagnostics Manufacturers of India (ADMI), the apex body representing the country’s in vitro diagnostics (IVD) industry, has announced the election of Jatin Mahajan, Managing Director of J. Mitra & Co., as its new President.
Following the successful completion of elections held in July 2025, Mahajan along with the other newly elected office bearers, formally assumed charge during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) convened on August 23, 2025, in Kochi.
Joining him on the Managing Committee are Sanjeev Lala, Senior Strategic Advisor at Advy Chemical elected as Vice President; Dr Rajesh M. Patel, Chief Executive Officer of AGD Biomedicals elected as Secretary; and Chirag Joshi, Chief Executive Officer of Beacon Diagnostic elected as Treasurer.
ADMI congratulated the new leadership team and expressed confidence in their ability to advance the association’s mission of strengthening India’s diagnostics sector. Under their guidance, ADMI will continue to focus on regulatory and policy advocacy, foster innovation and self-reliance, and work towards improving the accessibility, affordability, and quality of diagnostic solutions across the country.
The newly formed Managing Committee brings together seasoned industry leaders with proven expertise in advancing diagnostic technologies. Their combined vision and commitment are expected to shape the future of India’s diagnostic ecosystem, encourage collaboration among stakeholders, and drive the growth of a robust, globally competitive IVD industry.
ADMI also extended its gratitude to members for their enthusiastic participation in the election process and their continued support during the AGM.
