New Delhi: Medulance has unveiled a CSR-driven initiative to enhance first aid education among college students and faculty across Delhi NCR.
Launched in celebration of Independence Day, the campaign, titled “First Aid for a Safer India: Training Our Future Emergency Heroes,” aims to train over 100,000 college students and educators in first aid and basic life support.
Starting August 15, 2024, Medulance will integrate first aid and basic life support training into the curriculum for students aged 12 and above in Delhi schools. The campaign will also extend to private schools in the region, targeting an additional 50 lakh students to become equipped first responders in emergencies.
The initiative will focus on more than 50 colleges, including prominent institutions such as Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, to educate approximately 70,000 students and faculty members. This broad effort highlights Medulance’s commitment to enhancing safety and preparedness among young adults.
Pranav Bajaj, Co-Founder and CEO of Medulance, emphasized, “First aid is a critical skill that can save lives. By integrating first aid and basic life support training into the curriculum of Delhi’s schools and colleges, we are not only empowering our students with the knowledge to act in emergencies but also fostering a culture of preparedness and safety. We aim to create a generation of responsible citizens who can contribute to a safer India.”
The campaign represents a continuation of Medulance’s dedication to emergency preparedness, reflecting its ongoing collaborations with industry leaders like Zomato and Uber to expand first aid education.
