New Delhi: Syngene International has been awarded a silver rating in the EcoVadis sustainability index, placing the company among the top 15% of assessed companies worldwide. This accolade reflects Syngene’s strong commitment to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices.
EcoVadis is renowned for providing comprehensive business sustainability ratings, evaluating over 100,000 companies annually based on 21 sustainability criteria across four core themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Syngene’s high ranking comes after a thorough assessment, underscoring its commitment to sustainable business practices.

45% of the water used by Syngene is recycled or reused, reflecting the company’s focus on sustainable water management. By sourcing 70% of its total procurement from domestic suppliers in India, Syngene supports local businesses and reduces the environmental impact of its supply chain.
