Mehta Family Foundation partners with IIT Madras & IIT Guwahati for two major CARE conferences

New Delhi: The Bhupat & Jyoti Mehta Family Foundation (MFF) has announced two forthcoming Collaboration for Academic and Research Excellence (CARE) Conferences 2025 in partnership with IIT Madras and IIT Guwahati. Together, these efforts demonstrate the Foundation’s lasting dedication to enhancing India’s higher education and research ecosystem through continuous, interdisciplinary collaboration.

Hosted at IIT Madras from December 4–6, 2025, the CARE Conference 2025, themed “Molecules to Medicine: Bioengineering for One Health,” will convene leading scientists and engineers from across the world to explore new frontiers under five core theme topics; Disease Biology, Structural Biology, Systems Biology, Interventional Biology, and Translational Biology, covering the journey from fundamental discovery to therapeutic application.

Soon after, at IIT Guwahati, the CARE Conference 2025 on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence will take place from December 8–10, 2025, under the theme “Foundations and Frontiers of Data Science and AI.” The conference will witness in-depth discussions on Foundations of Data Science and AI, Generative AI and Emerging Technologies, and AI for Society and Sustainability, with a focus on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics (FATE) in the Indian context.

The conference will feature global experts from the USA, Germany, Japan, Australia, Ireland, and other countries, along with researchers from India’s leading institutions like IITs, IISc, IISERs, and TIFRs, to share their cutting-edge research and forge collaborative pathways that advance science and technology.

These conferences mark an expansion of the Foundation’s academic partnerships, which now include eight schools and centers across six IITs, spanning biosciences and biomedical engineering to data science and artificial intelligence, and sustainability.
