New Delhi: Nutrizoe has unveiled the clinical validation of its flagship product, Lactobites, a beacon of hope for new mothers, delivering remarkable results in enhancing breast milk supply.
The clinical trials were carried out under the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), and published in the Indian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Research (IJOGR).
Lactobites was launched in 2020 after extensive research that involved the participation of over 3,000 mothers. The clinical study called ‘the effect of Lactobites bar as a galactagogue to increase the production of milk in lactating women and promote overall healthy recovery of lactating mothers,’ was conducted on over 100 mothers, making it a significant stride in maternal healthcare.
Led by distinguished medical experts, including Dr. Narendra Malhotra, former president of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and currently MD of Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Ujjal Cygnus, Agra, alongside Dr. Nikhil Datar, Head of the Gynaecology Department at Cloud 9 Hospital, Mumbai, the trials are a testament to the product’s scientific rigour and credibility.
Lactobites have proven to increase breast milk supply by up to 12 times, coupled with substantial improvements in serum prolactin and haemoglobin levels. Equally important, the bars have been validated as completely safe for both mothers and their precious babies, affirming their role as a lifeline for mothers seeking to nourish their children naturally.
Since its inception, Lactobites has reached over 100,000 mothers, with more than 1.1 million bars sold in just 40 months. Buoyed by this overwhelming success, Nutrizoe has filed a patent for the groundbreaking composition of Lactobites.
Richa Pendake, Founder of Nutrizoe, eloquently expressed the emotional depth behind this journey: “Providing breast milk is more than just nourishment – it symbolizes the profound connection between mother and child, a bond that strengthens with every moment. Through Lactobites, we seek to nurture this bond, helping new mothers experience the joy and health they deserve. The validation from ICMR not only elevates a mother’s health but also brings joy to families across the country. Lactobites is a lifeline for breastfeeding mothers, and the fact that we have supported over 100,000 mothers in their breastfeeding journey is a testament to its power. We are excited to continue enriching maternal health with our innovative, heartfelt solutions.”
