Promega India partners Sambhav Foundation for COVID-19 relief measures

New Delhi: India crossed the 4-lakh mark of the single-day cases in the month of May, the highest tally in the world since the pandemic began. This increasing burden of Covid positive patients, 3000+ recorded fatalities per day, lack of life-saving equipment like oxygen cylinders and concentrators, ventilators and BiPAP machines, is crippling the country’s healthcare structure.

As India faces a second wave of COVID-19, Promega Biotech India is partnering with Sambhav Foundation (a LabourNet Initiative) to donate oxygen concentrators, BiPAP machines and organize vaccine camps across the country. Medical equipment will be donated to hospitals to augment their capacity to help patients infected with COVID-19 across Delhi /NCR.

According to the company, it is also distributing free-of-cost hand sanitizers and face masks to testing labs and local communities and plans to extend support by providing PPE kits and face shields.
