SRL Diagnostics bags ‘Leader Brand in Clinical Laboratory’ award

New Delhi: SRL Diagnostics, one of the India’s largest diagnostics chain, has won the award in “Leader Brand in Clinical Laboratory” category for its ‘Fellowship Training Programme for Skilled Medicos in Molecular Pathology’, at the Elets Healthcare and Wellness Summit 2018 held on 26th March in Delhi.

Dr Rajiv Tangri, Technical Head N&E, Director Gurgaon Reference Lab, received the award on behalf of SRL Diagnostics.

With the aim of improving the healthcare solutions available to people in the country, SRL Diagnostics offers a One-Year Fellowship Course in Molecular Pathology for healthcare professionals. The course is recognized by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences.

More than 15 years ago, SRL was the first laboratory to introduce the concept of an inclusive Reference Molecular Pathology setup in India, with sub-divisions of molecular oncology, genetic disorders and infectious diseases. Over the years, Molecular Pathology has evolved leaps and bounds, now enabling molecular diagnostic tests to be used extensively across therapeutic areas. The Fellowship course in Molecular Pathology for Post Graduates in Medical Sciences is SRL’s way of sharing their knowledge, with the fraternity, which they have garnered in the last more than a decade of operating in the field of Molecular Pathology.

The course is a paid one-year full-time course run by SRL’s Research and Development division at their central reference laboratory in Mumbai. The medical students are selected by the MUHS through the process of central counseling and are further referred to their institute for admissions.
