Tata 1mg continues to strengthen its diagnostics foothold, launches its first Reference Lab in India

New Delhi: Tata 1mg, one of India’s largest digital health platform, has launched its first Reference Lab based in Delhi. The state of the art reference diagnostics laboratory enables an extensive catalog of tests, can process upto 4000 tests an hour and joins Tata 1mg’s already extensive nationwide network of 8 diagnostic labs that serve over a million customers each year, across 30 cities.

Since its foray into e-diagnostics in 2016, Tata 1mg has established itself as one of India’s leading diagnostics players.

The new Reference Lab in Delhi is spread across 24000 sq. feet area and is equipped to process more than 4000 tests per hour across pathology and microbiology specializations. As per Tata 1mg, its network of labs works with best in class quality assurance and provides a comprehensive range of routine, specialized and esoteric tests covering the whole spectrum of clinical diagnostics.

Technology-enabled and fully automated systems track end to end sample movement from collection to reporting, thus eliminating pre-analytical errors. The labs are led by a strong and highly experienced team of pathologists, microbiologists, biochemists and molecular scientists who are further supported by the brand’s existing network of 1000+ phlebotomists for home sample collection.
