Thermo Fisher Scientific appoints Srinath Venkatesh as its new MD for India & South Asia

New Delhi: Srinath Venkatesh has been appointed as the Managing Director, India and South Asia, Thermo Fisher Scientific India. He succeeds Amit Chopra who was leading the company for over a decade and a half.
With a career spanning over 30 years, Venkatesh has been the brain behind sustained growth and success across businesses. Under his leadership, the company is expected to continue its legacy of excellence and steer its operations in India to greater heights.
In the past, Venkatesh has served as the President- Danaher India, and also the business leadership roles including Managing Director- India & Southeast Asia for Cepheid; Country Leader and Chief Executive Officer for GE in Bangladesh.
Having started his professional career in 1993, Venkatesh has held several sales, commercial and business leadership positions across the industrial and capital businesses.
