Agriculture minister interacts with the public through Facebook live

New Delhi: Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Mr Radha Mohan Singh recently interacted with the public through Facebook Live. This interaction was organised in coordination with the Ministry of Information Bureau and Press Information Bureau.

The three departments of the Agriculture Ministry participated in the event. As per the statement by the ministry officials, lakhs of people watched this program and asked questions from the Minister who furnished the audience with instant replies. Several comments were put forward even prior to the event using #AskRadhaMohanSingh.

During the event, the Minister discussed various schemes related to the Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Ministry such as Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Soil Health Card, and e-NAM and also replied to the queries related to the matters pertaining to the agriculture sector. The audience asked a volley of questions and the Minister tried to respond to as many as possible even after the LIVE interaction.

Post the interaction, the Minister praised the participation of the people saying that it proves that people are serious about agriculture and schemes related to it.
