Apollo Cancer Centres and Accuray launch India’s first Robotic Radiotherapy program

New initiative in Chennai and Bangalore to offer advanced training in robotic radiosurgery, marking a milestone in India's medical education

New Delhi: Apollo Cancer Centres (ACC), in collaboration with Accuray has announced the launch of the first Robotic and Stereotactic Therapy Education Centre in the Indian Subcontinent.
The new Robotic & Stereotactic Radiosurgery program will be established at ACC facilities in Chennai and Bangalore, providing advanced radiosurgery training to radiation oncologists, physicists, radiation therapists, and technologists from India and surrounding regions. 
The establishment of this educational center will significantly enhance the development of oncology care in the region. This program will offer comprehensive discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on training focused on robotic and stereotactic radiosurgery. It represents a significant advancement in India’s medical education landscape, providing world-class training locally. Participants will benefit from in-depth discussions and practical learning experiences.
