Fischer MV showcases strategic investments and global partnerships

New Delhi: Fischer Medical Ventures held a press conference on “Inspiring Tomorrow’s Healthcare Solutions Today” to highlight the company’s AI diagnostics and innovative medical technologies.

With a manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh’s MedTech Zone, the Chennai headquartered company stands out as the first Indian company to manufacture MRI systems indigenously, marking a key milestone in India’s medical technology sector.

Listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) since December 2023, Fischer MV is emerging as a global player in medical imaging and diagnostics, specializing in cost-effective, high-quality devices. The company has expanded into the MedTech sector through strategic investments and acquisitions.

Among Fischer MV’s key acquisitions is Wonder Tech, a pioneer in AI-driven voice biomarkers for mental health diagnostics. Their technology enables affordable mental health screening through a 60-second voice sample, representing a breakthrough in accessible mental healthcare. Another acquisition, Therapy Platform, integrates AI into psychological counseling to enhance therapy outcomes while reducing costs.

Fischer MV also acquired Nervotec, a company offering a contactless vital sign monitoring solution. Nervotec’s app, using remote photoplethysmography (rPPG) technology, provides the world’s first non-invasive hemoglobin and HbA1C measurements, revolutionizing healthcare diagnostics.

In elder care, Fischer MV invested in BluSim, which uses Ballistocardiography technology to continuously monitor patients’ vitals, detecting early health warnings through advanced algorithms and AI.

Fischer MV has achieved rapid growth through strategic collaborations. In partnership with Tech Avant-Garde (TAG), the company aims to conduct health screenings for millions of students across India using its e-Health Kiosk. Internationally, Fischer MV expanded into the Philippines with RiteMED by United Laboratories Inc. Their e-Health Kiosk will be introduced in RiteMED pharmacies, with a target of 10,000 units, reaching underserved communities.

In Malaysia, Fischer MV partnered with DoctorOnCall, integrating its healthcare solutions with DoctorOnCall’s telemedicine platform, serving over 1.9 million users annually. 

Fischer MV is also focusing on preventive healthcare, collaborating with Nanyang Biologics (NYB) to commercialize two cancer drug candidates and four nutraceutical products globally. Another partnership with Bio Angle Vacs (BAV) is helping to enhance animal healthcare, contributing to global food security.
